The "B" word and the "A" word

2nd grader: Um, Ms. Grumperini? So and so said the "B" word and the "A" word and said we shouldn't text those words because they're bad words, but he said them. He said the words.

Me: What? So and so said what??

2nd grader: He said the "B" word and the "A" word!

Me: He did? Wait? What words did he say?

2nd grader: He said "bitch" and "ass." And he said we shouldn't text those words, but he said them.

Me: Thank you, 2nd grader, please ask him to come here.

Me: So and so, did you say some bad words to 2nd grader?

So and so: No. I told him there were words we shouldn't text because they're bad words.

Me: He said you said the "B" word and the "A" word. Did you?

So and so: No, well, yes, I said those were words you shouldn't say or text because they're bad.

Me: Well, do you text?

So and so: No.

Me: Well, then why did you bring it up? Did you want to say the words? How do you know these words anyhow?

So and so: Oh, well my dad says them all the time!

Sometimes it's so hard not to laugh.
