Weekend Update

So, quick update because I have A TON to do today. I am taking over another content area this coming week, as well as the read aloud and other special activity occasions, such as the Chinese New Year on Thursday. Also, my mentor teacher is out all day on Wednesday and rather than ask for a sub I requested that she give me the chance to handle the class the whole day; and I think she's going to say yes! It's not as hard as it sounds because the morning is taken up already by a three-hour workshop for the kids, but it would still be me all day handling transitions and the entire afternoon. I wanted the opportunity to go for it...

Also, I may have a lead on a job... That is very much in the "what if" stages so I won't say more. But send good thoughts and think of me on Wednesday. If you don't hear from me by Friday, send in the national guard. HA.
